Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 30, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

The one hundred eighty-eighth day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

The enemy continues to concentrate efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk Oblast, holding occupied areas in Kherson, parts of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv oblasts.

Russian occupiers continue to inflict air and missile strikes on civilian objects within Ukraine's territory.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions, the situation has not changed significantly. Units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus are carrying out tasks to strengthen security along the Belarus-Ukraine border in Brest and Gomel regions.

The threat of enemy missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of the Republic of Belarus remains.

On the Northern Direction, the enemy continues to maintain separate units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. The adversary carried out artillery shelling around the villages of Obodi, Novovasylivka, and Myropil'ske in Sumy region.

On the Slobozhansky Direction, the enemy continues to conduct combat operations with the aim of holding previously occupied lines and preventing advances by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the Kharkiv Direction, the adversary carried out shelling from field and multiple rocket artillery in the areas around the villages of Prudyanka, Dementiyevka, Russkaya Loshava, Pytromykola, Staryi Saltiv, Pitomnik, Sosnovka, and Velyki Prohody. Used aviation for strikes near Hysarivka.

The enemy conducted an offensive battle with the aim of improving tactical position in the area around Udi village; after our forces' fire attack, they withdrew.

On the Slovyansky Direction, units of the adversary continued shelling from field artillery and multiple rocket launchers near Velika Komishova, Krasnopillya, Dmitrivka, Brakhivka, Dolyna, and Bogorodichne.

The enemy attempted to conduct aerial reconnaissance with UAVs in the area of Bogorodichne. The flying apparatus was destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

Units of the adversary made an attempt at storming towards Shnurky but were unsuccessful and withdrew.

On the Kramatorsk Direction, occupiers shelled with field and multiple rocket artillery areas around Zvanivka, Severnyy, Verkhnyokamyans'ke, and Slovyansk. Delivered air strikes near Grygoriyivka and Pryshyb.

On the Bakhmut Direction, tank fire, field artillery, and multiple rocket launcher shelling were recorded near Solodar, Dolyna, Zaytsevo, and Bylgorad. The enemy delivered air strikes in areas around Solodar and Kodema as well as a missile strike near Kostyantynivka.

Occupiers conducted offensive battles towards Zaytsevo, Shumy, and Kodema; they were repelled and withdrew.

On the Avdiivka Direction, artillery shelling continues in areas around Opitne, Pervomaisk, Avdiivka, Mariinka, Novoaleksandrivka, Vodyane, Novomykhailivka, and Tonikyne. The enemy conducted offensive battles towards Mariinka and Novomykhailivka but was unsuccessful and withdrew. Conducted reconnaissance towards Opitne.

On the Novopavlivsk Direction, areas near Vuhledar, Velika Novosilka, Prechystyvka, Novopolia, and Zelenoye Pole were affected by enemy artillery fire.

On the Zaporizhzhya Direction, the adversary shelled areas around Novodanylivka, Hulyaypole, Charyvne, Poltavka, Mali Shcherbaky, Zaliznychny, Novoyanivka, and Dorozhnyanka. Delivered air strikes near Novodanylivka, Novosilka, Kamianske, and Stepanovo. Conducted aerial reconnaissance with UAVs in areas around Orhyv, Hulyaypole, and Novoandriyivka.

On the South Buzhsky Direction, enemy shelling was recorded in areas around Oleksandrivka, Stepova Dolyna, Limany, Blagodatne, Miren, Kotlareve, Shevchenkove, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaisk, Partizanske, Shyroke, Chervona Dolyna, Chervoniy Yar, Murakhivka, Loshivka, Trudolyubivka, Zelenodolsk, Olgine, and Dobrianka. Delivered an air strike near Andreyivka.

Conducted offensive battles towards Potyomkin but was unsuccessful and withdrew.

Used reconnaissance UAVs in areas around Davidov Brod, Snigurivka, and Velykyi Artakove.

The enemy's naval group in the waters of the Black Sea and Azov Sea mainly focuses on conducting reconnaissance and blocking civilian maritime traffic. Submarines carrying Kalibr cruise missiles are ready for use.

There remains a threat of missile strikes against objects and infrastructure elements deep within Ukraine's territory.
