Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 1, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred fifty-ninth day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions, additional deployment of radio-electronic warfare complexes by armed forces of the Republic of Belarus is observed in border areas with our country.

On the Northern Direction, the enemy continues to maintain separate units of Russian Federation Armed Forces in border regions of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts. Conducted artillery shelling near Pavlivka, Sumy Oblast.

On the Kharkiv Direction, the enemy shelled with tanks, field and rocket artillery the areas of populated places Novomikolaivka, Prudyanka, New, Demetievka, Botanica, Bortsyova, Russian Lozova, Russian Tishki, Pyatryvka, Bazaliivka, Korobochkine, Stara Hnylitse, Ivanivka. Delivered an air strike near Mospanovo.

On the Slovyansk Direction, the enemy carried out fire strikes around Chepyel, Protopylovka, Grushuvakh, Gusaryvka, Dybryvne, Mazanivka, Krasnopillya, Dolyna and Barvinokovo. Using reconnaissance group forces attempted to clarify the location of our troops in the direction of Mazanivka, was unsuccessful, the group withdrew.

On the Kramatorsk Direction, the enemy did not conduct active actions. Conducted shelling with field and rocket artillery and tank armament near Severna, Serbryanka, Hryhorivka, Verkhnyokamyanskyi, Zvanivka, Ivan-Daryivka and Sporny. Delivered air strikes near Hryhorivka and Sporny.

On the Bakhmut Direction, shelling was observed around Berestevo, Sverdlovsk, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Veselovska Dolyna, Zaytseve, Verkhnya, Kodema, Semihirya and Travnianyi. The enemy delivered an air strike near Kodema.

Attempted to conduct reconnaissance of our troops' positions in the direction of Yakovyvka, the enemy's reconnaissance group was destroyed. Also attempted to carry out storming actions towards Verkhnya and Sverdlovsk, was unsuccessful, withdrew. Conducts offensive operations towards Bakhmut, combat operations continue.

On the Avdiivka Direction, occupiers carried out shelling in the areas of populated places Novokalynove, Novoselyvka, Avdiivka, Netaylove, Pisky and Krasnogorivka. The enemy delivered air strikes near Veseloye. Conducted storming actions towards Pisky, was unsuccessful, withdrew.

On the Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia Directions, the enemy is conducting shelling with field and rocket artillery in the areas of populated places Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Pavlivka, Shevchenko, Novosilka, Novopol, Malynivka, Charyvne, Hulyaypilske, Orikhiv and Kamianske. Delivered air strikes near Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Shcherbakiv, Malyi Shcherbakiv and Novoandriyivka. Conducted reconnaissance by combat in the direction of Mariinka, was unsuccessful, withdrew. Troop redeployment is ongoing on the Zaporizhzhia Direction.

On the Southern Buzok Direction, occupiers shelled with field and rocket artillery and tanks the areas of Mirolyubivka, Novovosnyanskyi, Vysokopillya, Mykolaev and more than 25 populated places. The enemy delivered an air strike near Olhynne. Continues to conduct aerial reconnaissance by UAVs.

An increase in the enemy's troop grouping on the Kryvorizhzhia Direction is noted.

Active involvement of the enemy's aviation for control over surface and air situation in the northwestern part of the Black Sea basin is being recorded.

The threat of missile strikes on military objects and critical infrastructure targets in Ukraine remains. In the Black Sea basin, six carriers of sea-based cruise missiles of the «Kalibr» type are present.
