According to the plans, the 32nd season of the Ukrainian Women's Premier League football championship for the 2022/2023 season is scheduled to start on September 10, 2022.

The project for the new season envisages the participation of twelve teams who will play under a standard format in two rounds: eleven matches in the first round, which is planned to be completed by December, and another eleven matches in spring 2023.

For the first time in the history of Ukrainian women's football, clubs in the Premier League will compete for the right to represent Ukraine in the Women's Champions League next season: the national champion will start their journey at the first qualifying stage of the Champions Path, while the team that finishes second in the championship will play in the first round of the League Path.

The team that occupies 12th place in the Ukrainian Premier League for the 2022/2023 season will be relegated to the First League.

Also, a schedule grid for the new season has appeared, listing basic match dates. The team numbers will be determined by drawing lots.

Also, taking into account the appeals from clubs, it was considered that due to the difficult situation in these regions related to the war, teams «Zhiltobud-1» (Kharkiv) and «Voskhod» (Stara Mayachka, Kherson region) would be unable to participate in the next championship. As a result, it was decided to retain these clubs' places in the Premier League for the 2023/2024 season.
