To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 17, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred forty-fourth day of heroic resistance against Russia's military aggression has begun.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions units of Belarusian armed forces continue to carry out assigned tasks. According to available information, there are restrictions on local residents visiting forests in border areas of Brest Oblast.

On the Northern Direction no significant changes. The enemy carried out an air strike near Esman, Sumy Oblast. Additionally, it periodically conducts aerial reconnaissance and artillery shelling of our positions in border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts.

On the Kharkiv Direction the enemy is trying to hold occupied lines. Shelled areas around populated places such as Pytovka, Ridenye, Sosnovka, Slatine, Pryshyb, Ruski Tishky, Pitomnik, Verkhniy Saltiv and others. Conducted aerial reconnaissance with UAV "Orlan-10".

On the Sloviansk Direction using field artillery and multiple rocket launchers, the enemy shelled civilian and military infrastructure near Zakitne, Hryhorivka, Tetianyvkivka, Zvanivka, Minkivka, Raihodok and others. Conducted assault actions in the vicinity of populated place Ivan-Daryivka but did not succeed. Attempted to advance towards Verkhnyakamyanka but received a decisive counterattack, suffered losses and withdrew. Conducted aerial reconnaissance with tactical UAVs near Zvanivka, Fedorivka and Seriyevka.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy carried out shelling of our positions in areas around populated places Novoluhanske, Berestove, Bihorivka, Verkhnya, Viyimka, Suka Balka, Oleksandriipil and territories of Vuglegirskaya TES. Ukrainian soldiers skillfully repelled another attempt by reconnaissance forces near Berestovo and Bihorivka. Also occupiers carried out air strikes with rockets near Soledar, Pokrovskiy and Svodoladarsk.

On the Avdiyivka, Kurakhivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia Directions systematic shelling of our positions along the line of contact continues. Occupants carried out air strikes near Kamianka, Shcherbakiv and Malyye Shcherbaki.

On the South Buzhok Direction recorded shelling in areas around populated places Novovorontsovka, Kobaztsi, Blagodatne, Bila Krinitsia, Trudolyubivka, Novogrigoriyevka, Oleksiyivka, Prybuzhke, Oleksandrivka, Lupareve and others. The enemy carried out rocket strikes on the city of Mykolaiv. There is a threat of repeating such actions by the enemy in the region.

To detect changes in our forces' situation and adjust fire, occupiers conduct aerial reconnaissance with tactical UAVs at operational-tactical and tactical levels. The enemy continues to fortify positions with engineering equipment.

Due to significant losses, the personnel composition of most occupation units has a very low level of moral-psychological state and seeks opportunities to avoid further participation in combat actions. This is especially widespread among occupiers who had direct fire contact with Ukrainian soldiers.
