On June 26, with the support of the UAF in Ivano-Frankivsk, a unique charity tournament called "Together to Victory!" took place to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The main trophy was contested by FC "Ruh", which plays in the UPL, the national team of veterans-legends of Ukrainian football, MFK "Prykarpattia ZSU" and MFK "Prykarpattia" U-19.

"In April, when we visited Ivano-Frankivsk, we promised to organize such a tournament for the coaches and football players of 'Prykarpattia', who at that time took an oath of allegiance to the people of Ukraine and went into service with the Armed Forces. While defending our country, the Carpathian footballers use their free time to play their beloved game. During the tournament, they had the opportunity to demonstrate a combination of fighting spirit and playing skill in matches against strong opponents," said UAF President and UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pavelko.

Parallel to the matches, a collection was organized to support the Armed Forces. On the stadium grounds, cars purchased by the Ivano-Frankivsk community were displayed for a local sniper battalion that is about to depart to the combat zone.

In addition, these competitions became a wonderful gift for child evacuees who found temporary shelter in Ivano-Frankivsk and visited the tournament at an invitation.

"Along with the head of the oblast military administration's office, Yaroslav Demianchuk, Mayor Ruslan Martyniv, Military Commissar Colonel Volodymyr Yamoshuk, First Vice President of the UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko, and Deputy Head of the Oblast Football Association Taras Klim, we honored the participants of the competition. It is an honor for us to join such a socially-sports initiative and help our heroes in uniform!

I sincerely congratulate the tournament winners - the team MFK "Prykarpattia ZSU"! I wish all participants and Ukraine as quick a victory over the Russian occupier, which we will certainly celebrate with matches featuring teams of our heroes in uniform, football stars, and legends of Ukrainian football. Until then, every day we continue to support the Armed Forces and give the occupiers a taste on all fronts! Glory to the Armed Forces! Glory to the Heroes! Glory to Ukraine!" - said Andriy Pavelko.
