The President of the Ukrainian Football Association, head of the UAF Coordination Center, and UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pavelko met with UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin. The leaders of the UAF and UEFA discussed a number of work issues, including — the conduct of Ukraine's championship and programs supporting children’s and youth football.

Andriy Pavelko thanked Aleksander Čeferin for significant help that the Union of European Football Associations has provided our country since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, as well as for prompt decisions regarding the isolation of Russian football from all competitions under UEFA auspices. "It was the UEFA President who initiated the creation of a coordination headquarters at the European football union level, which united the efforts of all friendly national associations and clubs towards Ukraine. Also thanks to Aleksander's support, our national team received an invitation to hold a training camp at the base of Slovenia’s national team. I had the opportunity to personally thank him for this and for the great assistance that our football family receives due to the President of UEFA in general. We also discussed possibilities for holding Ukraine's UPL and PFL championships, which are now very important for all of Ukrainian football," — said the president of the UAF.

The UEFA President assured that Ukraine will have full support within the European football union," — concluded the UAF leader.
