The opponents of the Ukraine WU-19 women's national team have been determined for the first round of the Euro 2022/2023 qualification in Leiz A. In Israel, besides the hosts, the players coached by Valeriy Palamarchu will face teams from Germany and Austria.

"The matches will take place on November 8th, 11th, and 14th," said head coach of Ukraine's women's youth national team Valeriy Palamarchu in a comment to the official website of the UAF. "In the near future, we will focus our attention on selection work."

"In March during the qualification matches for Euro 2021/2022 in Austria, our team managed to stay in the elite division. How many players from that squad can you no longer count on in Israel due to age restrictions?"

"On eight players born in 2003. Specifically, including captain Yulia Khristyuk, who has already played for Ukraine's women's national team. By the way, a similar situation exists with our visitors from Austria and Israel. Primarily, we are counting on good reinforcements from our WU-17 squad."

"Is maintaining a place among the continent's leading teams still the main task?"

"Of course. In my opinion, the German team has the highest chances in our group, while with Austria we have often faced off in recent years, and I am convinced that points can be taken from them. The hosts, who previously played in Leiz B, will make efforts to avoid finishing last at home. We will try to prevent them from doing so. However, as of now, we have the least information about Israel's team."

"Are preparation plans for the first round already known?"

"Given the current situation where the main focus is on winning against Russia's aggressor, it's difficult to make any predictions. However, I hope we will be able to prepare effectively."
