Euro 2022 (U-19). Final Tournament
Group A: Slovakia, Romania, Italy, France.
Group B: England, Israel, winner of Group 6, Austria.
The final tournament will take place from June 18 to July 1 in Slovakia. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals. A match for fifth place is also scheduled as five of the strongest Euro 2022 (U-19) teams will receive spots at the 2023 World Cup (U-20) in Indonesia.
Currently, seven out of eight participants in the European Championship are known. Besides the Slovakian team, which received a direct entry to the final stage as hosts, these are the winners of the elite round groups—Austria, England, Israel, Italy, Romania, and France. The last finalist will be determined in June at a mini-tournament where Ukraine's youth national team will participate.
We remind you that the blue-and-yellow team was drawn into Group 6, where they will face teams from the Netherlands, Norway, and Serbia. Matches were originally scheduled to take place from March 23 to 29 in the Netherlands. Due to military aggression against Ukraine, UEFA changed the dates. Matches involving our team are planned for June 1, 4, and 7.
