The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) today announced a complete termination of all commercial relations with the Russian company "Gazprom."

UEFA published an official press release stating that the organization is completely ending its cooperation with "Gazprom." The decision takes effect immediately.

It concerns partnerships with "Gazprom" in all competitions and applies to all existing contracts, including the Champions League and national team tournaments, including Euro 2024.

Recalling that on February 24, in light of the military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the Ukrainian Football Association sent relevant appeals to FIFA and UEFA following an executive committee decision, and on February 25, UEFA adopted important initial decisions regarding the aggressor country based on the results of an emergency executive committee meeting. Today, February 28, FIFA and UEFA suspended the participation of Russian clubs and national teams in all competitions.
