At the group stage, 48 teams are divided into 12 groups of four teams each. The twelve group winners advance directly to the round of 16 with the best eight records. The other four group winners and 12 second-placed teams in the groups will play an additional playoff round.

What is socca?

Socca is a variant of football played in 6x6 format. The field for socca has dimensions of 50x30 meters. A match consists of two halves of 20 minutes each (according to international rules), with teams consisting of one goalkeeper and five outfield players.

Matches are played on both natural and synthetic grass. The size of the goal is 2x5 meters.
