On June 20 in Poltava, a Russian shelling interrupted the usual day of four friends who were playing football. The boys sustained serious injuries: Bohdan and Andriy suffered shrapnel wounds to their abdomens, Illia was injured in his leg, and Mykhailo in his back.
President of the UAF Andriy Shevchenko and players of the national team prepared a special surprise for the young footballers — a video message and customized jerseys. The main point was an invitation to all four boys to attend a match of the Ukraine national team after their rehabilitation.
The Ukrainian Football Association wishes the boys a speedy recovery. We are waiting for you in the stands!
