The media service acts as an information partner for the tournament and will show selected matches of each round on the OTT-platform, channel “MEGOGO Football First”, and in the subsection “Football” under the "Sport" section.

Selected Prime League matches will be available within the Sport subscription and as part of all MEGOPACK packages. Already this Sunday, July 19,MEGOGO will broadcast a match from the first round between “Metalist 1925” and “Kolos”. Kick-off at 11:00 AM. The match will be commentated by Pavlo Posokhov.

In the inaugural season of the Prime League, eight clubs that have passed the accreditation process and received the right to compete in the new elite division will participate:

— “Kolos” (Kovalivka);

— “Krivbas” (Kryvyi Rih);

— “Ladomir” (Volodymyr);

— “Metalist 1925” (Kharkiv);

— “Panthers” (Uman);

— “Polesia” (Zhytomyr);

— “Sisters” (Odessa);

— “Shakhtar” (Donetsk).

The 2026/2027 season will be the first to take place under a new format. Teams will play in four rounds according to the traditional home-and-away system. Each club will play 28 matches, totaling 112 games for fans to enjoy. This format guarantees high sporting competition, more meaningful matchups, and consistently high levels of intrigue throughout the season.

Before winter break, 17 rounds are planned, with the last one scheduled for November 20. In spring, the championship will resume from round 18, and the final, 28th round is set to take place at the end of May 2027.

The creation of the Prime League is not just a change in competition format.
