Final stage of the meeting between the UAFF Arbitration Committee and UPL clubs regarding updated Rules of Play for the 2026/2027 season

Further meetings took place with representatives of «Veres» (Rivne), «Kudryvka», «Obolon» (Kyiv), «Zori» (Luhansk), «Kharkiv», «Shakhtar» (Donetsk) and «Epizentru» (Khmelnytskyi). The events were attended by players, coaching staff of the teams, and instructors from the Referees Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Shandor and Yurii Mosiychuk.

During presentations, the instructors detailed the changes to the Rules of Play for the 2026/2027 season, using video examples and analysis of real game episodes. Special attention was given to new provisions that will directly impact the pace of play, discipline among match participants, and interaction between teams and referees.

The meetings took place in an open professional dialogue format. Players and coaches received answers to current questions regarding the practical application of updated Rules of Play, as well as had the opportunity to discuss specific game situations that most often provoke discussions during matches.

Holding such events is an important component of conducting competitions and contributes to a unified interpretation of the Rules of Playreducing the number of conflict situations during matches and enhancing mutual trust among all participants in the football process..
