"Open Football Festivals" were held in Nevytske in Zakarpattia
SDSHOR "Mykolaiv" U-19 became the champion of the Southern Region Cup
On Sunday, February 8th, decisive matches and the award ceremony for the Southern Region Football Cup took place in Mykolaiv.

We would like to remind you that the tournament was held under the auspices of the Association of Football of Mykolaiv and Kherson Regions with the active support and in close cooperation with the Odessa Regional Football Association.
The game day started with a match for third place, which saw the football academy "Kryvbas" U-17 face off against the team "Legal Academy FSPM" from Odessa. The main part of the game ended in a draw – 1:1, and then the opponents determined the winner through penalty shootout. In this lottery, the young footballers from Kryvyi Rih proved to be luckier, securing an honorable third place.

The final match offered the audience a true football drama and intrigue until the last minutes. In the deciding game, SDYSSOR "Mykolaiv" U-19 faced off against the team "Rytynnik" from South-Ukrainian. Already in the first half, the opponents exchanged goals twice, and the score of 2:2 remained until the final whistle. Therefore, the winner of the tournament was also determined through a penalty shootout where the players from SDYSSOR "Mykolaiv" were more accurate. Thus, the boys from Mykolaev became the holders of the Cup of the Southern Region, while the team "Rytynnik" won silver medals.

Representatives of the Association of Football of Mykolaiv and Kherson Regions and the Odessa Regional Football Association participated in the award ceremony. The trophies were presented to the teams by the head of AFMHO Oleksandr Balakin, first deputy head Anatolii Pikhnin, and executive director of OOFA Anatoliy Kolyomenets.

The participants were awarded with trophies, thank you notes from the organizers, and pleasant gifts from the Odessa Regional Football Association. Special thanks went to the active supporters – the parents of SDYSSOR "Mykolaiv" who actively supported their team throughout the football season.
