UEFA has released the calendar for European club tournaments in 2026. The next season will start on June 16 with the draw for the first qualifying rounds of UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League. Teams that win Vbet League will begin their campaign in the Champions League or Europa League as a champion or holder of the Ukrainian Cup.
In total, four clubs from Ukraine will participate in European cups.
The winner of Vbet League will receive a spot in the first qualifying round of the Champions League. Four stages are involved; if unsuccessful, our champion will move to other European tournaments.
One club will represent Ukraine in the Europa League — in the first qualification round. This right will go either to the holder of the Ukrainian Cup or the silver medalist of the Ukrainian Premier League. If unsuccessful in the Europa League qualification, he will automatically move to the Conference League, but only as a group participant — if he defeats three opponents.
In the basic format of the Conference League registration, Ukraine will have two delegates. The second team from the Ukrainian Premier League (or third, depending on the situation in Vbet Cup of Ukraine) and the third (or fourth) will start in the second qualification round. Thus, our clubs need to defeat three opponents to reach the main grid of the CL.
It should be noted that in all group stages of the three European cups, 36 clubs will again participate.
Ukraine's quota for season-2026/2027
Champions League
The champion of the Ukrainian Premier League will start in the first qualifying round (based on a basic grid that may be adjusted through additional points in the regulations).
Draw — June 16, matches — July 7/8 and July 14/15.
Europa League
The holder of the Ukrainian Cup (second team from the Ukrainian Premier League) will start in the first qualifying round.
Draw — June 16, matches — July 9 and July 16.
Conference League
The second (third) team from the Ukrainian Premier League will start in the second qualifying round.
Draw — June 17, matches — July 23 and July 30.
The third (fourth) team from the Ukrainian Premier League will start in the second qualifying round.
Draw — June 17, matches — July 23 and July 30.
