In Chernivtsi, at the premises of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sport and Rehabilitation of Chernivtsi National University, a seminar titled "Philosophy and Methodology «Manchester City»" was held.
The seminar was organized by the Ukrainian Football Association with the support of the Chernivtsi Oblast Football Association. Present were representatives from AFCHO – First Deputy Head Sergiy Zadorozhnyak and Executive Director Oleksandr Pliakhov, and from UAF – Department of Development Director Bohdan Horynychuk and Head of Youth Department Maxim Sirota. Nearly 60 specialists participated in the seminar, who had UEFA coaching licenses categories C, B or A and experience working with youth teams.

During the seminar, participants received both theoretical and practical knowledge based on the principles of one of the most progressive football academies in the world. Lecturers detailed the structure of training processes, approaches to planning cycles, peculiarities of developing individual qualities of players, and modernization of work with youth football schools.

Many practical issues regarding the adaptation of global methodologies to Ukrainian realities and their effective implementation in daily coaching work were discussed.
The main conclusions that coaches took away:
— Training is a structure, not chaos. Logical sequence and proper structuring of the session yield results faster than an endless series of new exercises;
— Controlled intensity. The player learns more effectively where the training pace is right, not exhausting;
— Each exercise should have a goal. The coach must clearly understand which game element it develops;
— The role of the coach is to guide, not dictate. Questions and corrections during exercises shape football thinking;
— Theory is valuable only when supported by practice. What works on the field can be seen, what does not – cannot.

The Chernivtsi Oblast Football Association expresses sincere gratitude to the leading experts and coaches from UAF who conducted the seminar at a high professional level, sharing their knowledge with regional coaches. This is a significant contribution to the development of youth football in Bukovyna.
