Tuesday, December 10 saw the draw for the second qualifying round of Euro-2026 among under-17 boys, in which Ukraine's national team participated (players born no later than 2009).

The wards of Oleksandr Sitnik, who secured third place in their Group A league of the first qualifying round and will now play in League B, were placed in Pot 1 before the draw for the second qualifying round. As a result, by virtue of the draw, blue-and-yellow found themselves in Group B6, where their opponents are Latvia and Albania.

In the second round, 28 teams (14 group winners from the first qualifying round and 14 teams that secured second place) will compete in seven groups of League A until March 31. Winners of the quartets join hosts Estonia for the final stage, which will take place from May 25 to June 7, 2026. The forum draw is scheduled for April 9.

In turn, 26 teams will compete in seven groups of League B (five with four teams each and two with three) until June 30.

Both tournaments are important in the context of forming Leagues A and B for the first qualifying round of Euro-2028 (U-19).
