The Ukrainian Football Association jointly with regional associations announces the start of a nationwide series of seminars on the theme "Philosophy and methodology of the Manchester City Academy."

The UAF will hold seminars in each region of Ukraine, giving local coaches the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the principles of one of the strongest and most progressive football academies in the world.

Each participant will be able to gain contemporary knowledge that will contribute to the development of youth and girls' football at both the local and national levels.

Coaches wishing to participate in the seminars are asked to contact their regional football associations.

We remind you that in January this year, 20 Ukrainian coaches underwent training at one of the most successful clubs in the world — "Manchester City." This became possible thanks to cooperation between the Ukrainian Football Association and an English club, which was officially established in summer 2024.

The internship program had an open selection among Ukrainian coaches. Any interested party could apply. Candidates were selected based on the following criteria: possession of UEFA coaching license C, B or A, experience working with children and youth teams, as well as the ability to implement innovations in the training process in Ukraine.

During their internship, Ukrainian coaches had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the contemporary football philosophy of "MC," familiarize themselves with training methods at the club's academy, and visit training bases for both children's teams and the first team. Now they will be spreading this knowledge across Ukraine.
