The Ukrainian national team became silver medalists at the world championship in futsal among students
The Ukrainian youth and girls' teams (age of players — up to 18 years) secured second place at the 2025 FIFA School Football Championship in futsal, which was held in Brazil.

The youth team under Igor Mosyichov, after defeating France in the semifinals (10:3), lost to the tournament hosts in the decisive match — 2:4, although they were leading during the game — 2:0.

The girls, under the leadership of Vladimir Zhily and Vladimir Panchenko, advanced to the final after two penalty shootout wins against Morocco and France teams, but also lost to the hosts in the gold medal match — 0:4.
It should be noted that this is a historic achievement for our futsal teams on the international stage.
