Taking the opportunity, the Ukrainian Football Association expressed its gratitude for the careers of former national team defenders and forwards of Ukraine — Artem Fedetskyi and Yevhen Seleznyov respectively.

President of the UAF Andriy Shevchenko and Vice-President of the UAF Oleksandr Shevchenko at the "Legia" stadium in Warsaw presented the ex-players of the national team with commemorative jerseys, on which the number of matches each played for Ukraine was recorded.

Yevhen Seleznyov made his debut for the national team on May 24, 2008 in a friendly match against the Netherlands that took place in Rotterdam and ended with a victory for the hosts (4:0). Overall, the forward played 58 matches for Ukraine, scoring 11 goals.

Artem Fedetskyi's first match for Ukraine took place on May 25, 2010: in a friendly match that was held in Kharkiv, the blue-and-yellow team defeated Lithuania — 4:0. Throughout his career, the defender played 53 matches for the national team and scored two goals.
