The Ukraine national team in Poland conducted their first full training session as part of preparation for the upcoming World Cup 2026 qualifiers — against Iceland (October 10, Reykjavik) and Azerbaijan (October 13, Krakow).

The Ukraine team in Poland conducted their first full training session as part of the preparation for upcoming World Cup 2026 qualification matches against Iceland (October 10, Reykjavik) and Azerbaijan (October 13, Krakow).

Ukraine Team Roster

Goalkeepers: Georgiy Bushchan ("Polesia" Zhytomyr), Anatoliy Trubin ("Benfica" Lisbon, Portugal), Dmytro Ryznyk ("Shakhtar" Donetsk).

Today, October 8th, in the evening, the team will depart for Reykjavik. On the 9th, there will be traditional pre-match press conferences by Serhiy Rebrov and one of his players (start at 20:30 Kyiv time) and a training session on the Iceland-Ukraine match field, "Leiagrundsvollur" stadium. Return to Poland is planned for October 11th.

On October 12th in Krakow, there will be traditional events before the match Ukraine-Azerbaijan. At 17:30 local time, a press conference by Serhiy Rebrov and one of his players will begin, followed by training for the Ukrainian team at 18:00.

Communication with representatives of Azerbaijani media and training sessions of our opponents will start at 19:30 and 20:00 local time respectively.
