Today, on October 2nd, Kyiv's "Dynamo" started in the main stage of the Conference League with a match against English "Crystal Palace."

In the middle of the first half, while fighting for the ball in their own penalty area, central defender Taras Mykhalko of Kyiv sustained an injury. While he was receiving assistance and the coaches were preparing for a substitution, the visitors took advantage of the numerical disadvantage. Piño delivered a diagonal cross to the far post where Mounié outmaneuvered Dubynchak and accurately scored into the far corner.

After halftime, the guests doubled their lead. In the 58th minute, Piño dribbled past Brazyka on the left flank and crossed to the penalty spot where the fresh Nketiah outpaced defenders and steered the ball into the net.

Towards the end of the match, "Dynamo" tried to narrow the gap. In the 76th minute, after a second yellow card warning, Sosa was sent off. However, Kyiv could not capitalize on their numerical superiority. The final score — 0:2 in favor of "Crystal Palace."
