Event branding, inventory in game squares, coaching dedication, educational components from DSNZ and police experts, basics of military service, a whole series of honorable guests, and the aesthetic football material base of Tulchyn's children's-youth sports school for orphans — these are the components of successfully implementing the project which will have its logical continuation and conclude in spring 2026.

The "Open Football Festivals" project of the Ukrainian Association of Football is:

  • youth leadership in communities;
  • psychosocial support for children of ZSU servicemen, children of IDPs, and children who have suffered from the war;
  • unity and friendship among IDP children and local children, social integration;
  • an inclusive environment where everyone participates, including children with special educational needs;
  • knowledge of safety in wartime conditions;
  • philosophy of mass football — joy from playing instead of results at any cost;
  • cultivation of a healthy lifestyle;
  • volunteer development;
  • activation of local communities through cross-sector networks (youth leaders, teachers, coaches, psychologists, safety experts, parents, local authorities, patrons and so on).
