Today, September 23, the Ukraine U-16 youth team (players born in or after 2010) conducted a friendly match against the "Metalist 1925" U-17 team during their training camp.

The camp of the blue and yellow takes place at NTK named after V. Bannikov in Kyiv. It started on September 22 and will run until the 27th. During this period, the team is scheduled to play two friendlies, with the first being against Kharkiv.

The opening minutes of the match were dominated by Vladimir Samborsky's wards. The score was opened in the 16th minute: Ostrovsky, from his half of the field, passed a precise diagonal into the penalty area to Dzurynetz. Oleg managed to get to the corner of the goalkeeper and delivered an accurate shot - 1:0.

During halftime, the blue and yellow coaching staff made ten substitutions immediately, but the advantage remained with the national team. On the 52nd minute, Donik earned a dangerous penalty on the left side of the penalty area. Kravchuk took the free kick - and delivered a brilliant shot into the far upper corner behind the goalkeeper's reach.

And the final score was set by Grebelnik with a minute to go - he was assisted by Boyko. 3:0 - a clear victory for Vladimir Samborsky's wards.

The second friendly match will be played on September 27 against "Kolos" U-19. Kick-off is at 11:00.
