UEFA has announced the lineup of the refereeing crew that will work at the opening match of the 2026 World Cup qualifier Ukraine – France, which will take place on September 5 in Wrocław (kickoff — 9:45 PM Kyiv time).

The UEFA has announced the lineup of the refereeing team that will work at the opening match of the 2026 World Cup qualifier between Ukraine and France, which will take place on September 5 in Wrocław (kick-off at 9:45 PM Kyiv time).

On the field of the Stadion Tychy Arena Wrocław, a quartet of Dutch referees led by Danny Makkelie will oversee the match. Hessel Stigstra and Jan de Vries will assist on the lines, while Allart Lindhout will serve as the fourth official. Dennis Higler and Richard Martens, also from the Netherlands, will be responsible for operating the VAR system.
