Today, on August 15 in Lviv at the «Ukraine» stadium, the opening match of the third round of the Ukraine-2025/2026 championship took place.

In the first match of the "Rukh" round, Kyiv's "Obolon" was the home team. The guests opened the score in the 27th minute. After executing a penalty kick, Denis Ustimenko headed the ball into the opponent's goal.

In the second half, Lviv managed to even things out. On the 62nd minute, Rostislav Liah scored with an excellent shot from a penalty. This goal was Liah's debut in the UPL for "Rukh" defender. Later, Serhiy Sukhanov demonstrated his mastery in executing penalties. Thus, 2:1 — the second victory of "Obolon" in the new season.

It should be noted that head coach of Ukraine's national team Sergiy Rebrov observed this match from the stands.
