Today, within the third qualifying round of the Conference League, "Polesia" faced Hungarian "Paksi" in a nominal home match. 

The first half of the game in Prešov at "Tatran Arena" was marked by numerous attacks and many dangerous moments. The hosts demonstrated better realization towards the end of the first half.  

On the 41st minute, Krushynskyi dribbled past a defender from the left flank and played a pass to Andriyevs'kyi who scored with a shot from ten meters out into an empty net. Five minutes later, Lednev executed a penalty kick, and Beskorovaynyi headed in another goal against the Hungarian goalkeeper – 2:0.

At the start of the second half, the hosts increased their lead. Krushynskyi dribbled past two opponents on the flank and crossed to Lednev. The score was 3:0 – a decent cushion going into the return match.
