A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Futsal Association took place. Two issues were on the agenda — changing the name of FC «Avrora TIM» and approving the lineup of participants for the Extra League-2025/2026.

After reviewing the relevant application and provided documents, the Executive Committee of the UFA approved the request to change the name of a participating club in the upcoming championship from «Avrora TIM» to «Kyiv Futsal».

Also at the meeting, the lineup of participants for the Extra League season-2025/2026 was approved. Eleven clubs will participate in the next tournament:

ХІТ (Kyiv);

«Kyiv Futsal»;

«Sokil» (Khmelnytskyi);

«Hurricane» (Ivano-Frankivsk);

«Athletic Futsal» (Dnipro);

«Sukha Balka» (Zolote Vody);

«Cardinal» (Rivne);

«Lubart» (Lviv);

«Tair Expert» (Odessa);

«Furniture» (Kolomyia);

«Avalon» (Brovary).

The newcomers to the elite division are the champions, finalists, and bronze medalists of the first league season-2024/2025 — «Tair Expert», «Furniture» and «Avalon».

On the other hand, four clubs that participated in the Extra League-2024/2025 will not play in the next tournament for various reasons. This includes the current bronze medalist SkyUp Futsal, which declined to participate, three-time champion «Energiya», which has ceased professional activities, as well as in.IT and MSK «Kharkiv». The teams that occupied 11th and 12th places last season plan to take part in the first league-2025/2026.
