At the latest XXXII PFL Conference, held in Kyiv's Football House under the chairmanship of league president Oleksandr Kadenko and with the participation of UAF Technical Director Ihor Dedischenko, summaries of last season were concluded.

Delegates approved the regulations, schedule-calendar, lineup of participants, and format for conducting all-Ukrainian competitions among teams under the PFL banner.

Thus, in the first league, the following will compete: "Agrobusiness", "Bukovyna", "Victoria", "Vorskla", "Inhulets", "Left Bank", "Phenix-Mariupol", "Metalist", "Mynai", "Niva", "Podillia-Blago", "Probiy", "Chernihiv", "Chornomorets", FC YUKSA.

The competition will take place under a round-robin system in two rounds. The starting date of the first round is August 2.

It is expected that in the new season, the battle for promotion to the top division will be as fierce as it was last year. Leading contenders for promotion are primarily teams that were relegated from the elite division: "Vorskla", "Chornomorets", "Inhulets" and "Left Bank", which announced the appointment of a new head coach, Andriy Havryshov.

Serhiy Shyshchenko, former player for Obolon, also has ambitious plans for "Bukovyna".

These teams will face competition from "Metalist" and "Victoria" as well.
