Today, within the framework of a training camp in Spain, Ukraine's U-20 national team (players born in 2005 and younger) played a friendly match against the local football club «Murcia» U-21.

Under the guidance of Dmitry Mykhaylenko, thanks to goals by Gadzhiev and Karman (from the penalty), the team secured a 2-0 victory.

As a reminder, within the preparation for the U-20 World Cup 2025, Ukraine's national team will play another friendly match in Spain. The team of Dmitry Mykhaylenko will face the USA U-19 on June 10.

The CS-2025 (U-20) will take place from September 27 to October 19 in five cities in Chile: Valparaiso, Santiago, Viña del Mar, Rancagua and Talca. Twenty-four teams from six confederations will participate. Initially, they will compete in six groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group, along with the best third-placed team from each group, will advance to the round of 16. From there, it follows a standard format.

Participants: Chile (as hosts); Spain, France, Italy, Ukraine and Norway — from Europe; USA, Mexico, Cuba and Panama — from CONCACAF; Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay — from South America; Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Australia — from Asia; New Zealand and New Caledonia — from Oceania; PAR, Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt — from Africa.
