June 2, Ukraine's U-21 national team defeated the local FC "Murcia" (U-21) in a friendly match with a score of 4:0 (goals scored by Vyunyk, Voloshin, Vanat, and Velentey).

After the game, players of the blue-and-yellow team Illia Kvasnitsya, Nazar Voloshyn, and Anton Tarenko shared their impressions with the press service of the UAF.

Illia Kvasnitsya (defender): "We are polishing our team play. There is a lot of tactics, a lot of game structure - defense and attack."

Nazar Voloshyn (defender): "The coach's instructions were to transfer what we worked on in training onto the field. I believe we played an excellent match, scoring many goals."

Anton Tarenko (defender): "We had a control game against 'Murcia', everyone got some playing time. I think this is good preparation and experience before the start of the final tournament."

The general rehearsal for the finals under Unai Melgosa's guidance will be a friendly match between Spain (U-21) and Ukraine (U-21), which will take place on June 6 in Alcorcón, Spain at the "Santo Domingo Stadium."

Then, Ukraine's U-21 national team will participate in the final tournament of Euro 2025 (U-21) in Slovakia, where they will play against Denmark (June 12), Finland (June 15), and the Netherlands (June 18).
