In April, at the OSK "Metalist" with the initiative of the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Football Association Oleh Synyehubov and the head of the oblast veterans' football committee Volodymyr Lyinke, a tournament among football veterans over 60 was held in memory of Serhiy Malchuk, who passed away at the age of 72 on March 4 this year but forever remains in the hearts of football fans.

His virtuoso play is still nostalgically remembered by older generations of "Metalist" supporters, boldly calling him one of the best forwards in the club's history.

According to the tournament results, first place was taken by the "Druzhba" team, silver went to "Yunost", and bronze medals were won by players from "Slobodianskyi".

The executive director of HOAF Olena Korobka greeted the participants and awarded them cups and medals from the oblast football association.
