Today, the Ukrainian women's beach soccer team played a match for third place at the EuroLeague-2025 qualifying stage, which is taking place in the Spanish town of El Puerto de Santa Maria.

After losing to Spain (2:4) and winning against England (5:1), today Yuri Klimenko's team faced the Czech Republic in a match for third place. 

The start of the match was not favorable for the blue-and-yellow team; already on the first minute, their opponents went ahead with a goal by Martina Folprechtova. The Ukrainians managed to equalize only after the first break — Anastasiia Kliapachenko scored. However, before the second minute had passed, Folprechtova once again put the Czech team in the lead. Nevertheless, towards the end of the second period, goals by Yuliia Kostenko and Oleksandra Skibina turned the course of the match — 3:2. 

In the third period, the opponents exchanged goals with Evi Chocholusova and Oleksandra Skibina. Thus, 4:3 — victory for Ukraine's team, securing them third place in the EuroLeague-2025 qualifier and a spot in the finals.
