The women's national beach soccer team of Ukraine started the qualifying stage of EuroLeague-2025, which is taking place in the Spanish village El Puerto de Santa Maria.

The first opponent for Yuri Klimenko’s wards was the home team, which holds the highest step on the world ranking of BSWW.

In the opening period, the rivals exchanged goals. Anastasiia Klipachenko scored at 6 minutes and the Spaniards responded with a goal by Jessica Miras at 9 minutes.

The second twelve-minute period was scoreless, but early in the third period Iryna Dubitska put Ukraine ahead. However, four minutes later Andrea Miron equalized again. The end of the match turned out to be unsuccessful for the blue and yellow team as they conceded two more goals—2:4.
