In the first round of matches, Ukraine lost to Hungary on penalties 5-4 (regular time 1-1), and in the second match they lost to Croatia — 0-4.

Today, the team of Lyudmila Lemeshko faced Morocco. Our girls went ahead as early as the 6th minute thanks to Fedosenko's goal, but after that, the Moroccans took control and almost constantly attacked Ukraine's goal.

After Ukraine were reduced to ten players when Onufriienko was sent off in the 79th minute, our defense crumbled, and the opponents equalized the score — 1-1.

The matter went to a penalty shootout, where our girls proved more accurate — 5-4. They secured third place at the tournament.
