Second League. "Breakthrough" awaits opponent in championship race

Credit should be given to the main coach of "Proboi" Volodymyr Kovalyuk, who at the start of the season said that his team would aim for promotion. The Gorodenkivtsi have already achieved half of this goal by becoming group A winners ahead of schedule and are now waiting for their opponent from group B in the championship round playoff. Most likely, it will be "Kolos-2."
The Przemyślans secured first place by taking the lead over "Polesia-2" — 3:1. The hosts took an early lead thanks to a shot from Volodymyr Radulskyi. This quick goal threw Polesians off balance, and they only occasionally troubled Proboi goalkeeper Ivan Pitsan with long-range shots.
However, at the start of the second half, captain Oleksiy Avramenko did manage to sneak past the keeper from about 30 meters out — 1:1. But even without their injured striker Bohdan Orinchak, the hosts scored twice in succession and forced their opponents into submission.
In this group as well, "Ruh-2" and "Skała 1911" are competing for second place, which allows them to continue fighting for a spot in the first league.
As for group B, "Kolos-2" and "Chernihiv" are expected to lead.
