April 16-17 at the sports complex of the Mykhailo Dragomanov National University of Ukraine in Kyiv, a football tournament was held by the National Guard of Ukraine. The event took place with the support of the NGU and under the patronage of the Ukrainian Football Association.

The competition was held according to the calendar of the National Guard with the aim of developing football among military personnel and supporting their physical and psychological rehabilitation.

Five teams from territorial units of the NGU and three teams from educational institutions of the NGU participated in the futsal championship:

— Northern TO (Kyiv);

— Central TO (Dnipro);

— Eastern TO (Kharkiv);

— Southern TO (Odessa);

— Western TO (Lviv);

— Kharkiv Academy of the NGU;

— Kyiv Institute of the NGU;

— Ivano-Frankivsk Educational Center of the NGU.

The winners among territorial units were:

1. Northern TO (Kyiv).

2. Southern TO (Odessa).

3. Central TO (Dnipro).

Individual awards:

— best player: Roman Bakum (Northern TO);

— best goalkeeper: Herman Gorovyj (Central TO);

— top scorer: Mykola Lysenko (Southern TO).

1. Kharkiv Academy of the NGU.

2. Ivano-Frankivsk Educational Center of the NGU.

3. Kyiv Institute of the NGU.

The award ceremony was attended by Colonel Rostyslav Pasternak, head of the professional training department at the National Guard University, President of the Ukrainian Futsal Association Serhiy Vladika, and former football player, now a member of the National Guard, Volodymyr Vasyuk, who congratulated Serhiy Vladika, players, coaches, and staff of Ukraine's national futsal team on qualifying for the 2026 Euro finals.
