A well-known football official in Ukraine, Igor Dedishin, has been appointed as the technical director of the Ukrainian Football Association. The expert has already started fulfilling his direct responsibilities.

Igor Dedishin

Born on March 9, 1977, in Krupske village of Mykolaiv district, Lviv region.

In 1994-1999, he studied at the journalism faculty of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and received a specialist diploma in Journalism. In 2022, he entered the postgraduate program at the Lviv State University of Physical Culture named after I. Boberskyi. He is working on his doctoral dissertation titled "Improving the system for controlling technical-tactical preparation of U-19 football players during specialized basic training."

An alumnus of the DUSSH in Novy Rozdil. Played in the Lviv Oblast championship for teams «Khimik» (Novy Rozdil) and «Tsementnik» (Mykolaiv). Also played for the indoor football team «Ukraine» in the top league of Ukraine's championship (1994-1997).

Since 2002, he has held various executive positions at FC Karpaty (Lviv), and from August 2009 to July 2015, he served as the club's general director.

In 2016-2017, he was the general director of FC Veres (Rivne) and NK Czelje (Slovenia). Since early 2018, he has been overseeing the construction of the football academy for FC Rukh (Lviv), and on July 24, 2019, he became the general director of the Lviv club.
