The day before the UEFA Nations League 2024/2025 playoff match Belgium – Ukraine, which will take place on March 23 in Ghent at Cegeka Arena (kickoff at 9:45 PM Kyiv time), our national team’s camp saw two injured players leave.

Unfortunately, the injuries sustained by Yurym Konoply and Oleksiy Sytsa during yesterday's match against Belgium (3:1) will prevent these players from helping the blue-and-yellow team in Sunday’s encounter.

Regarding possible replacements for the injured players, head coach of Ukraine’s national team Serhiy Rebrov noted: "Unfortunately, at this moment we do not have that possibility. First of all, we cannot make documents to leave Ukraine, and there are only two days until the game. I believe we have enough players even if we cannot use the aforementioned footballers."

So, for the match in Ghent, our coaching staff will prepare 23 players.
