Euro-2025 (WU-17): announced the lineup of the Ukrainian women's national team for preparation for the second qualifying round

Head coach of the Ukraine WU-17 team Lyudmila Lemeshko has announced her squad for the national training camp ahead of the second qualifying round matches for Euro 2025 (WU-17). Twenty-four players will be preparing at the camp in Ternopil.

The head coach of the Ukraine U-17 women's national team Lyudmila Lemeschko has announced her squad for the upcoming second qualifying round matches of Euro 2025 (WU-17).

Twenty-four players will be training in Ternopil. For the official matches against Spain (March 8), Belgium (March 11) and Iceland (March 14) at the Pinatar Arena and Estadio Nueva Condomina in Murcia, Spain, twenty footballers will be selected.

In the second qualifying round, seven teams will qualify for the final tournament of the European Championship among women's under-17 teams along with the Faroe Islands. Additionally, teams will move between leagues based on their performance. The seeding for the draw in the second round was determined by the positions held in the first round.

In League A, seven groups of 28 teams each will compete, including seven teams that advanced from League B after the first round. The winners of these seven groups in the second round will secure spots at the final tournament, which will take place from May 4 to May 17, 2025. Teams finishing fourth in their groups will start the next season in League B.

Twenty-one teams in League B, including those that were relegated after the autumn stage of League A, will compete across six groups for promotion back to League A in the next qualifying round.

It is worth noting that Euro 2025 (WU-17) will serve as a qualifier for the FIFA Women's U-17 World Cup in 2025, which will take place from October 17 to November 8 in Morocco.
