Today in Europe, the main competitions of two tournaments are being renewed, where not only Ukrainian clubs but also players from our national team are participating — the Europa League and the Champions League.

Europa League

Kyiv's Dynamo will play a match against local Galatasaray in Istanbul on Thursday, January 26 (kick-off at 17:30 Kyiv time). The team of Oleksandr Shovkovskiy, considering its standing in the tournament, has already lost even theoretical chances to qualify for the Europa League knockout stage. Before the end of the current round, the white-and-blue will play one more match: on January 30 at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg against Latvian RFS (22:00 Kyiv time).

On Thursday, January 19, Italian Roma with Artem Dovbik (away game against Dutch AZ) and Greek Olympiacos with Roman Yaremchuk (away match against Portuguese Porto) will also play their seventh matches in the Europa League.

Champions League

On Wednesday, January 25, Donetsk Shakhtar will host French Brest at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany (kick-off at 19:45 Kyiv time) in the seventh round of the Champions League. The team of Mariano Pušić, considering its standing in the tournament, still has a chance to qualify for the knockout stage of the CL. In the final match on January 29, the orange-and-black will face local Borussia Dortmund (22:00 Kyiv time).

We note that today in the Champions League, Portuguese Benfica with Anatoliy Trubin will host Spanish Barcelona, and tomorrow, January 25, English Arsenal with Oleksandr Zinchenko will face Croatian Dinamo Zagreb, Spanish Girona with Viktor Tsygankov will play away against Italian Milan, and Madrid Real with Andriy Lunin will host Austrian Salzburg.
