The Donetsk Shaktar and Kyiv Dynamo are participating in the UEFA Youth League 2024/2025 draw. The miners finished 14th in the main round, which corresponded to the Champions League group stage schedule. The Dynamo team overcame two opponents in the Champions Path.

The draw for the Round of 16 will take place on December 20 (start at 13:00 Kyiv time). The top 22 teams from the Champions League path will be joined by ten winners from the Champions Path.

Teams with a UEFA coefficient ranking of 1–6 in the Champions League path will be seeded and play against clubs that finished 17th to 22nd in the main round. Winners of the third round of the Champions Path (among them «Dynamo») will be seeded and will face teams from the Champions League path ranked 7–16 (among them «Shaktar»).

Teams from the same association will be separated at the draw. Seeded clubs will play their Round of 16 matches at home. The one-off ties will take place on February 11/12, 2025. Dates and kick-off times will be announced by January 7.
