For the first time, our girls gathered in March to play two friendly away matches against Italy. Unfortunately, in both encounters in Taranto, Oleh Shaytanov's wards were defeated.

Then, after a long break, the women's national team of Ukraine began its journey in the qualification for the first-ever World Championship, which will be hosted by the Philippines in 2025. In October, Oleh Shaytanov's wards played matches in the main round in the Czech city of Teplice. After an initial loss to France, the blue-and-yellow team managed to defeat Northern Ireland and the hosts, but this was not enough. Our team finished second in their group, while the French women advanced to the elite round.

In 2024, seven players scored for Ukraine's national women's futsal team, with Daria Kovshyk being the top scorer with five goals.
