The Ukraine national team won Albania in Tirana in the final round of the League of Nations 2024/2025 — 2:1, and as a result, finished on the second step in Group V1.

According to the regulations, teams finishing third in groups of League A for the 2026/2027 cycle and second-placed national teams from groups of League B will meet in the playoffs. The latter, including Ukraine, will play their first matches at home. Matches are scheduled for March 20-23, 2025.

The draw for the playoff round will take place on November 22 (start — 13:00 Kyiv time) in Nyon, Switzerland. Among our potential opponents are Scotland, Serbia, Hungary, and Belgium.
