On October 25, the Red Building of Taras Shevchenko National University hosted a meeting between Andriy Shevchenko, President of the UAF, and university students.

The event marked the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the UAF and the university. During the meeting, Andriy Shevchenko presented UAF’s areas of activity, answered questions from the audience, and shared his vision of the youth’s role in the development of the country and sports.

“It is a great pleasure to be here today. First, I want to thank the men and women who stand on the front lines, protect us, and allow us to gather here, study, and contribute to the future of our country. Your university holds exceptional importance for Ukraine, and the contributions of its graduates are renowned worldwide. Achievements in sports emphasize Ukraine’s strength and create a positive image globally. Sport is more than just competition. The activities of the UAF also extend beyond the football field.

I am grateful to Volodymyr Bugrov for this meeting and the opportunity to sign the memorandum. Theoretical knowledge should be complemented by practical experience. I am pleased to invite you to contribute to the development of football in Ukraine,” Andriy Shevchenko addressed the students.

The memorandum provides for experience sharing and cooperation between the parties in implementing joint activities and projects aimed at developing and promoting sports, particularly football, and a healthy lifestyle. This is an excellent opportunity for young people aspiring to build a career in this field to participate in key UAF projects at both national and international levels.
