In the 8th round of the English Premier League, Illya Zabarny, a defender from Ukraine's national team, played at home against one of the tournament favorites for 2024/2025 — London's Arsenal FC, featuring Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Zabarny played the full match and helped his team secure a victory — 2:0. Zinchenko remained on the bench throughout the game.
Vitaliy Mykolenko's Everton FC managed to defeat Ipswich Town away from home — 2:0.
With 11 points, "The Cherries" are in 10th place in the Premier League table, Arsenal with 17 points — third, and "The Seagulls" with eight points — 16th.
