Europa League: Dynamo Kyiv suffers defeat in their second league phase match

After a 0:3 loss to Lazio in Hamburg in the first round, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's team faced Hoffenheim in Sinsheim at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

The first half saw a slight advantage for the hosts, who managed to capitalize once. However, the first real chance to open the score came from Dynamo. In the 11th minute, Brazhko unleashed a powerful long-range shot, which Baumann managed to save with some difficulty. But in the 22nd minute, Mykhavko failed to intercept a cross from the right wing into the box, and Hlozek fired past Bushchan to make it 1:0.

After the break, Hlozek completed his brace in the 60th minute following an excellent combination from the German side. Dynamo had a chance to score in the 71st minute, but after Kabaiev's low cross, Voloshyn couldn't quite reach the ball.

In the end, it was a 0:2 defeat for Dynamo Kyiv.
