Lately, "Proboi" has been in the spotlight, confidently leading Group A. In the previous round, coach Volodymyr Kovalyuk's team did not win in Uzhhorod, and in the recent one — they suffered their first defeat from "Ruhu-2" (2:3).

The second team of the elite club started the season without Nepaieiev, Stolyarchuk, and Teslyuk, who transferred to other clubs, but this did not affect their combat readiness. They defeated one of the promotion contenders, "Skala 1911," away from home, then also beat "Proboi." In Horodenka, fans were not bored: there were five goals scored, two penalties, and intrigue kept everyone on edge until the final whistle.

The visitors led twice but the hosts equalized each time. For the fifth time in a row, Orinchak scored. However, when Lvivian Boyko scored from distance for the third time at 81 minutes, forcing the Carpathians to capitulate, they could not save themselves despite their efforts. Unrestrained Orinchak was unlucky as his shot hit the crossbar.

However, this defeat did not affect "Proboi's" standings since "Polesia-2" unexpectedly lost to "Revery 1908," and "Skala 1911" — another debutant, "Vilkivtsi" (both with a score of 0:1). Only Kulykivtsi closed the gap after their away victory in Sambir — 1:0.

Meanwhile, in Group B, after an unsuccessful start, "Hrynyk-Sport" won for the third time in a row and is gradually overcoming its slump. Coach Valeriy Kutsenko's team took the lead over "Lokomotiv," scoring the decisive goal in injury time with fewer players. Kozlovsky was notable.

Today, the current round concluded with a match between "Kolos-2" and "Vorskla-2." Kovalevtsi proved stronger — 2:0 and became Group B leaders.
