After Ukraine's two September matches in the 2024/2025 Nations League against Albania (1:2) and Czechia (2:3), there were some changes in the top ranks of the national team's all-time appearance list.

Andriy Yarmolenko, the leader in appearances, set yet another record by reaching 124 caps for the national team.

Taras Stepanenko's match against Czechia marked his 86th appearance, putting him just one game behind Yevhen Konoplyanka (87 caps), who currently holds seventh place in the rankings.

Mykola Matviнenko reached a bittersweet milestone in his 70th match for Ukraine when a handball resulted in a decisive penalty for Czechia.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, with 68 appearances, surpassed Andriy Nesmachnyi (67 matches, 14th place) and matched Andriy Vorobey (68, 13th).

Viktor Tsyпankov now has 57 caps, allowing him to surpass Vyacheslav Shevchuk and Serhiy Nazarenko (both with 56) and draw level with Oleksandr Kucher (57, 21st).

Roman Yaremchuk celebrated a half-century milestone, earning his 55th cap against Czechia. This moved him ahead of Yaroslav Rakytskyi and Serhiy Popov (both with 54) into 25th place in the rankings.
