UEFA Europa League draw. Dynamo Kyiv's group stage matches set

Today, August 30, the draw for the UEFA Europa League group stage took place, with Dynamo Kyiv participating from Pot 3.

The White and Blues will face two opponents from each pot. Dynamo Kyiv's fixtures are:

  • Lazio (home)
  • Roma (away)
  • Ferencváros (home)
  • Real Sociedad (away)
  • Viktoria (home)
  • Galatasaray (away)
  • RFS (home)
  • Hoffenheim (away).

Pot 1: Roma (Italy), Manchester United (England), Porto (Portugal), Ajax (Netherlands), Rangers (Scotland), Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany), Lazio (Italy), Tottenham Hotspur (England), Slavia Prague (Czechia).

A total of 36 clubs will compete in the group stage.

The major change this season is the transition from the traditional group stage to a single league stage, which includes all participating teams. Each club will now play a minimum of eight league-stage matches against eight different opponents (four home and four away), instead of the previous six matches against three teams, played home and away. The top eight teams will automatically advance to the knockout stage, while teams finishing in places 9 through 24 will compete in two-legged playoffs for spots in the Round of 16. Teams finishing between 25th and 36th will be eliminated from European competitions.

The first matchday of the group stage will take place on September 25–26.
